As I have just read, this is not aload. Sorry! I can't find my original post so i think it may have been deleated. I do find these sites usefull especaily as I'm a work from home dad. Hi Martin, that was me.

Welcome to the website.

Try not to sell your website too blatantly and we'll get on fine!

Hi Martin and welcome along. Now how about taking the ads out for a while and telling us something about yourself?

Yes, okay, I was trying to promote my site, you caught me! But really, I have just given up my job as a retail manager and become a full time dad. Who ever said the other halfs had it easy whilst staying at home looking after the kids needs shooting! This is just my first week and I wish I hadn't said Monday was a peace of ????!
I will stop advertising my site for the moment but I am working on another one for parents and their under fives. When it is finished I would like to sign the address under my name if that's alright with you? I do beleive it would be useful for other members.
I have actualy gone back to work in the evenings. Had to dust of the chef whites from ten years ago and hold my tummy in. Found a little job in a busy Italian place. Talk about firery Italians! Tonight a waiter (Italian) turned on the owner and had a proper fight. Knives, bottles, fists and everything! 6 police and two ambulances. Oh, and it's only my third night. Maybe you can see why I'd like to make my business a success?

Here's a little something I wrote for tonight, Enjoy.

Three weeks ago we ordered and paid for a bike for our son's birthday. Today I went to pick it up and found it was reduced by twenty pounds. I asked the assistant if I could have the difference refunded and he said yes, okay. Result right? well it gets better.
He couldn't just refund me the difference, he had to refund the purchase then recharge me for the items purchased. It wasn't until I got home and checked my recipe that I realised he had only refunded the purchase and not recharged me the full amount. Priceless!
I would have been happy with just the £20.00 difference.
Happy bargain hunting
Martin, the work from home dad
